SUMMER AT CENTENARY begins this Sunday. Join us as we study some of the great stories of our faith found in the Old Testament. Worship is at 8:30am, 9:00am & 11:00am. Sunday school meets at 10am as we get creative with the same scriptures used during worship.
We had a great morning of worship as we celebrated the birthday of the Church with our Pentecost Festival. Enjoy this video of the highlights!
PENTECOST PICNIC CANCELED Due to the weather and wet conditions, the Pentecost picnic has been canceled. We will still have one worship service at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Gathering music begins at 10:30am. No spiritual formation classes will meet.

Haiti Mission Trip • October 10-14 Each October, a group travels to Port-au-Prince, Haiti for five days. In that time, we connect with our friends at Haiti Outreach Ministries, participate in light construction or other work projects, visit local orphanages, and worship and fellowship with our brothers and sisters there. The chancel is bare. Tonight we hear "The Seven Last Words from the Cross" by Paul Carr. Our worship begins at 7pm in the Sanctuary as our Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra take us on our journey into the Tenebrae.

LENTEN JOURNEY: All Roads Lead to the Cross From Rev. Jeremy Pegram When making left turns at most intersections the driver must yield to oncoming traffic. Lately, I have found making left turns in downtown Winston-Salem nearly impossible with the increased traffic volume related to the Business-40 closure. I feel like I have lost hours, if not days, sitting at traffic lights on Broad Street when making my way to the church. Like the physical roads we travel, life has many intersections. Rather than yielding to other drivers or vehicles, we have a calling by God to yield our own ambitions and desires for a higher purpose. I hope you will join me on Sunday as we reflect upon God’s call to yield ourselves to the purposes of heaven. Yielding to God might take us on unexpected detours, but might we discover that all roads lead to the cross. See you on Sunday!
